Terms of Service

Terms of Service.

Last updated: October 4, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of the MuSourc website and services.

MuSourc is currently operating as a brand in development. Legal entity details, registered address, and final governing-law provisions will be updated once incorporation and related legal setup are complete.

1. Who We Are

MuSourc (“MuSourc”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the MuSourc music licensing platform available at musourc.com.

For questions, support, licensing matters, or legal notices, contact:

musourc.licensing@gmail.com

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must have an account to purchase Standard Licenses or access Creator+.

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information when creating your account.
  • Keeping your login credentials secure.
  • Maintaining the security of your account.
  • All activity occurring through your account.

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement where you live.

You may not create an account for another person without authorization or use another person’s account or credentials.

3. MuSourc Licenses

Music available through MuSourc is licensed, not sold.

Your rights to use a MuSourc track are governed by the applicable MuSourc License Terms, which form part of these Terms of Service.

The License Terms explain:

  • What uses are permitted.
  • Standard License rights.
  • Creator+ rights.
  • Client and third-party content.
  • Permitted editing.
  • Prohibited uses.
  • Copyright and Content ID matters.
  • What happens when Creator+ ends.
  • Ownership of the underlying music.

You do not receive ownership of a track, master recording, composition, or other underlying intellectual property by purchasing or downloading it.

4. Standard Licenses

A Standard License is a one-time purchase for a specific track.

Once successfully purchased, the license provides the rights described in the MuSourc License Terms.

Standard Licenses are associated with the purchasing MuSourc account and may not be sold, transferred, or assigned to another person or account.

5. Creator+ Subscription

Creator+ is a recurring subscription currently priced at $13.99 per month.

While your subscription is active and in good standing, Creator+ allows you to download eligible tracks included in the Creator+ catalog.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the available billing-management tools.

Cancellation stops future renewal. Unless otherwise required by applicable law, your Creator+ access continues through the end of the paid subscription period.

When Creator+ access ends:

  • New Creator+ downloads are no longer available.
  • Creator+ benefits end.
  • Tracks downloaded through Creator+ may continue to be used in content you created and published while your subscription was active.
  • Those tracks may not be used in new content created or first published after your subscription ends unless you purchase a separate Standard License or obtain another license from MuSourc.

Additional licensing rules are provided in the MuSourc License Terms.

6. Client and Third-Party Content

You may use a properly licensed MuSourc track in content you create for a client, brand, business, or other third party, provided the use complies with the applicable License Terms.

The client may publish and use the completed content you created for them.

However, your MuSourc license does not transfer independent rights to the client. The client may not extract, redistribute, resell, sublicense, or independently reuse the raw track in separate new content without obtaining an appropriate license or written permission from MuSourc.

7. Payments, Pricing, and Taxes

Payments are processed through our third-party payment provider.

Prices are displayed at the time of purchase. Applicable taxes may be calculated and displayed at checkout where required.

Creator+ subscription charges recur automatically according to the stated billing interval until cancelled.

You authorize the applicable payment provider to charge your selected payment method for purchases and recurring subscription charges.

MuSourc may change its prices or subscription offerings in the future. Changes to recurring subscription pricing will be communicated as required by applicable law.

8. Refunds and Cancellations

Refunds, subscription cancellations, accidental purchases, duplicate charges, payment disputes, and related matters are governed by the MuSourc Refund & Cancellation Policy.

That policy forms part of these Terms of Service.

Nothing in these Terms or the Refund & Cancellation Policy limits any consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use MuSourc or its services for unlawful purposes.
  • Infringe the intellectual-property or other rights of another person.
  • Sell, redistribute, sublicense, or make raw MuSourc track files available to others except where expressly permitted.
  • Upload MuSourc tracks as standalone music releases or otherwise distribute them as independent audio products.
  • Use MuSourc tracks for AI training, dataset ingestion, machine-learning model training, or generative AI development.
  • Scrape, crawl, systematically download, or otherwise attempt to extract substantial portions of the MuSourc catalog.
  • Circumvent download limits, subscription restrictions, payment requirements, or other access controls.
  • Share account credentials or allow unauthorized persons to use your account.
  • Misrepresent your relationship with MuSourc or the source or ownership of music available through the service.
  • Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, reverse engineer, or compromise the security of the service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts involved in serious or repeated abuse, subject to applicable law.

10. Intellectual Property

MuSourc, its licensors, and applicable rights holders retain ownership of the music, recordings, compositions, artwork, website content, branding, software, and other intellectual property made available through the service.

Purchasing a license gives you specified usage rights. It does not transfer copyright, master ownership, trademark rights, or other intellectual-property ownership to you.

MuSourc and its associated names, logos, branding, and site materials may not be copied, reproduced, or used without appropriate authorization.

11. Catalog Availability

MuSourc may add, remove, replace, or modify tracks and other catalog content from time to time.

Removing a track from the catalog does not, by itself, cancel a valid previously issued perpetual Standard License, subject to the applicable License Terms and applicable law.

If a track is removed because of a rights issue, MuSourc may contact affected users where appropriate.

12. Independent Creative Projects and Commercial Productions

The permitted uses of MuSourc tracks are described in the License Terms.

Independent short films, student films, independently developed games, personal projects, and similar small-scale creative projects may be permitted under a Standard License.

Major commercial film, television, streaming, app, video-game, theatrical, broadcast, agency, or large-scale commercial uses may require a separate custom license.

If an independently created project is later acquired, distributed, or incorporated into a major commercial production or other use requiring specialized rights, additional licensing may be required.

13. Platform Content and Third-Party Services

MuSourc may rely on third-party services, including payment processors, hosting providers, email services, analytics providers, and other technology providers.

Your use of third-party platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitch, Kick, podcast platforms, app stores, or other services is also subject to their respective terms and policies.

MuSourc does not control third-party platform decisions, including automated copyright claims, monetization decisions, content removals, or account restrictions.

14. Content ID and Copyright Claims

A MuSourc license authorizes the uses described in the License Terms, but automated copyright systems may still identify licensed music.

If you receive a claim involving a MuSourc track, contact:

musourc.licensing@gmail.com

MuSourc will review the information and provide reasonable assistance with verifying your license and, where appropriate, helping submit a dispute or claim-release request.

MuSourc cannot guarantee that every platform claim will be removed or resolved within a specific timeframe.

15. Service Availability

We aim to keep MuSourc available and functioning properly, but we do not guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available.

The service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical problems, third-party service interruptions, security issues, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

16. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MuSourc provides the website and services on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee that the service will always meet your requirements, operate without interruption, or be completely free of errors.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits warranties, rights, or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MuSourc will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of the service.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MuSourc’s total liability for claims arising from or relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to MuSourc during the twelve months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

18. Account Suspension and Termination

You may stop using MuSourc and close your account at any time.

MuSourc may suspend or terminate an account where reasonably necessary because of:

  • A material breach of these Terms.
  • A breach of the License Terms.
  • Fraudulent or unauthorized activity.
  • Payment abuse or chargebacks.
  • Attempts to circumvent access controls.
  • Serious or repeated misuse of the service.

Where appropriate and permitted by law, we may provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue before termination.

Termination of an account does not automatically extinguish rights that have already been validly granted under a perpetual Standard License, subject to the License Terms and applicable law.

19. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in the MuSourc Privacy Policy.

By using MuSourc, you acknowledge that information may be processed by MuSourc and its service providers as described in that policy.

20. Governing Law

MuSourc is currently completing its formal business and legal setup.

The governing-law and jurisdiction provisions of these Terms will be updated once the applicable legal entity, registered address, and jurisdiction have been finalized.

Until then, MuSourc will make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes directly and in good faith through:

musourc.licensing@gmail.com

Nothing in this section limits any mandatory rights or remedies available under applicable law.

21. Changes to These Terms

MuSourc may update these Terms from time to time.

If we make a material change, we will provide notice as required by applicable law, which may include posting the updated Terms on this page or providing notice through your account or email.

The updated Terms will include a revised “Last updated” date.

Your continued use of MuSourc after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the changes to the extent permitted by applicable law.
