Refund & Cancellation Policy
How refunds and cancellations work at MuSourc
MuSourc provides digital music licenses and subscription-based access to licensed music. This policy explains how cancellations, refunds, and payment issues are handled.
By purchasing a track or subscribing to Creator+, you agree to this policy, subject to any rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection laws.
1. Standard License Purchases — $5.99
A Standard License is a one-time purchase for a specific track.
Because the licensed track is a digital product that may be downloaded and used immediately, Standard License purchases are generally non-refundable once the track has been successfully downloaded or otherwise made available for download, except where a refund is required by applicable law or where MuSourc determines that a refund is appropriate under the circumstances.
If you experience a genuine technical problem that prevents you from accessing or downloading a track you purchased, contact us at:
We will review the issue and make reasonable efforts to restore access or provide an appropriate solution.
If you were charged more than once for the same purchase due to a technical or processing error, contact us and we will review the duplicate charge.
2. Creator+ Subscription — $13.99/month
Creator+ is a recurring monthly subscription.
You may cancel Creator+ at any time through the billing management options available through your MuSourc Account or Stripe billing portal.
Cancellation stops future renewal. Unless otherwise required by applicable law, you will continue to have Creator+ access through the end of the paid subscription period.
Cancelling a subscription does not automatically create a refund for the current billing period.
After your Creator+ access ends:
- You can no longer download tracks using Creator+.
- Creator+ benefits are no longer available.
- Tracks downloaded through Creator+ may continue to be used in content you created and published while your subscription was active, subject to the MuSourc License Terms.
- Tracks downloaded through Creator+ may not be used in new content created or first published after your subscription ends unless you purchase a separate Standard License or obtain another license from MuSourc.
3. Subscription Refunds
If you believe you were charged incorrectly for a Creator+ subscription, contact us at:
We will review the transaction and determine whether a refund is appropriate.
Examples that may qualify for review include:
- Duplicate subscription charges
- A billing error
- A charge made after cancellation where the cancellation was successfully completed before the renewal
- Technical issues that resulted in an incorrect charge
Refunds are not guaranteed solely because a subscription was not used during a billing period.
Nothing in this policy limits any cancellation or refund rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable consumer-protection law.
4. Accidental Purchases
If you accidentally purchase a track, contact us as soon as possible at:
If the track has not yet been downloaded or otherwise accessed for use, MuSourc may be able to cancel the transaction and issue a refund.
Once a digital track has been downloaded or made available for use, refunds may not be available except where required by applicable law or where MuSourc determines that a refund is appropriate.
5. Failed, Reversed, or Disputed Payments
If a payment is reversed, refunded, disputed, or charged back, the associated license or subscription access may be suspended or revoked to the extent permitted by applicable law.
If you believe a payment issue occurred in error, contact us before initiating a chargeback so we can review the transaction and attempt to resolve the issue.
A successful chargeback or payment reversal does not create a continuing right to use a track for which payment has been reversed.
6. Unauthorized Transactions
If you believe your MuSourc account or payment method was used without your authorization, contact us immediately at:
We may request information necessary to investigate the transaction and may coordinate with our payment processor where appropriate.
You should also contact your financial institution if you believe your payment credentials have been compromised.
7. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund or report a billing issue, email:
Please include, where available:
- Your MuSourc account email
- Track title or subscription information
- Purchase or download reference
- Date of the transaction
- A brief explanation of the issue
MuSourc will review the request and respond within a reasonable period.
If a refund is approved, it will generally be issued to the original payment method used for the transaction.
8. Consumer Protection Rights
This policy does not limit or exclude any rights or remedies you may have under applicable consumer-protection laws.
Where applicable law provides a consumer with a right to cancel an agreement or receive a refund, those rights apply regardless of anything stated in this policy.
9. Changes to This Policy
MuSourc may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time.
Any material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.
The version of this policy applicable to a transaction will be the version in effect when the transaction was made, subject to any legal requirements that apply afterward.
