Questions, answered.
Use the track in videos, podcasts, ads, streams, social content, and other permitted creator content — worldwide and perpetually, subject to the License Terms. Standard licenses cover monetized creator content across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitch, podcast platforms, and similar platforms. Independent short films, student films, independently developed games, personal projects, and similar small-scale creative projects are also permitted under the License Terms. See the full License Terms for details.
Standard is a one-time $5.99 purchase for a single track. Creator+ is a $13.99/month subscription that allows you to download eligible tracks from the Creator+ catalog while your subscription is active and in good standing.
No. Tracks you downloaded through Creator+ may continue to be used in content you created and published while your subscription was active. However, after your subscription ends, you cannot use those tracks in new content unless you purchase a separate Standard License or obtain another license from MuSourc. New Creator+ downloads and subscription benefits also stop when your access ends.
Credit is appreciated but not required for Standard or Creator+ licenses.
Yes. You may use a licensed track in content you create for a client, brand, business, or other third party, provided the use is otherwise permitted under the License Terms. The client may publish and use the completed content you created for them, but the license does not give the client independent rights to extract, redistribute, resell, sublicense, or reuse the raw track in separate new content. See the License Terms for details.
MuSourc tracks are original productions and are not registered in YouTube Content ID, but automated platform claims can still occur. If one does, email us your account email, the track title, the content URL, and any claim details. We reply within 2 business days and help you verify your license and dispute the claim or request a release. Platforms control their own review times, so we can’t guarantee how fast a claim clears.
Go to your Account page. Creator+ invoices, billing history, payment methods, and subscription cancellation are available under “Manage Billing & Invoices”. Standard License purchases are one-time payments and come with a payment receipt. You can find your Standard License purchase receipts under “Track license receipts”.
